Protect Your Garage Access with Colonial Home Warranties

Last updated 9 months ago

Imagine pulling up in front of your house with a load of groceries, only to find that your garage door won’t let you in. Repairing a garage door opener is an unwelcome expense that comes out of the blue and could leave you making difficult choices about your budget—unless, of course, you are covered by Colonial Home Warranty. Our home warranty programs can cover your garage access devices, so you don’t have to worry about the costs of repairs when your garage isn’t in service. Here’s what you need to know:

Colonial Home Warranty Coverage
When you sign up for a Colonial Home Warranty plan, coverage starts 30 days later. We offer there different price plans, each of which covers garage door openers. If your system acts up after your warranty has kicked in, we’ll meet the costs of the repairs or provide a replacement in keeping with the terms of your contract.

Repair Process
Once you notify us of a problem with your garage access, we’ll send out one of our local contractors to evaluate the problem. All of our local service contractors are strictly vetted by us, so you can rest assured that you will get only the highest quality repairs. If our service providers can’t fix your garage door opener, we’ll cover the cost of replacement.

Repairs That Are Not Covered
Our home warranties cover your major appliances when they break because of normal wear and tear. If your garage door opener is broken because of user error, the repairs or replacement won’t be covered under your contract.

You can avoid surprise expenses and save thousands of dollars on repair costs with a Colonial Home Warranty. Our home warranties are available in three different price plans, so we have a flexible home warranty for every budget. Visit our website to learn more about our plans, or call us at (888) 481-3941.
